I have heard a class action is being mounted against Telstra Mobile by
Australian business using Telstra Mobile phone.
The reason , Telstra Mobile is refusing to register the same mobile
number when being forced to change from the old mobile network to the
new mobile network.

Telstra Mobile information and infrastructure is simply not ready for
change in Feb. 2008.

Which means in 2008 when I change my mobile phone to 3G or other, I'll
have to change my phone number?

Where can I join the class-action against Telstra Mobile phone?
Any information will be appreciated.

By Feb. 2008 it is predicted 80,000 Australia business using Telstra
Mobile phone as their way of communication will be forced out of
business because their mobile number has been forcibly removed or
change.
At the moment 25 millions mobile phones are controlled directly or
indirectly through Telstra Australia Mobile .

Already a large number of business find impossible to keep their old
mobile number with 3G and other new networks.

Which mean business cards , business letter heads, website , local and
overseas customers etc can not be organized and warn by Feb. 2008.

Instead of looking after the Australian business, Telstra Australia is
selling DVD's door to door.
"Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck ....."

Is it technically difficult for Telstra Mobile to allow business
people to keep their same telephone number when changing to the new
3G from now until Feb. 2008?

Technically easy to do.

Why does Telstra Mobile refuses to do it?

Because Telstra Mobile has to find an excuse to rip off the Australian
businesses.

What about the TIO?
The Telecommunication Industry Ombudsman (TIO) is just an other name
for Telstra.
The board of the TIO is fully controlled by Telstra since 1999.

80,000 oz business going baste and 500,000 oz business seriously
affected because Telstra Mobile has no respect for Australian
business. These are the statistics for 2008.

What about the Minister for telecommunications and Howard Government
in all of this?

Interesting to see if theMinister for telecommunications and Howard
Government can control Telstra Mobile?

Your statements about Telstra Mobile doing all these amazing things is
not documented by any websites.

Document your arguments.

In other words no one can verify what you're saying.

Typical Telstra management attitude.

You need an oil and nappy change.

Your statements about Telstra Mobile doing all these amazing
things is not documented by any websites.
Document your arguments.
In other words no one can verify what you're saying.
Typical Telstra management attitude.
You need an oil and nappy change.
Georges
Take a look at my other postings and you will soon see that I am one of the
MOST critical of Telstra. However when dickheads like you write absolutely
absurb and ridiculous bullshit in posts then you deserve to be labelled as
(similar to Howard) "the skid-mark on the bedsheet of aus.comms
posters". --

Talk well but CAN NOT deliver any FACTS or WEBSITES.

And neither did you fuckwit, just invented some lies and bullshit stories.
If I was Telstra's legal department, I'd have you in my sights for court action.
More fool you. They aint actually THAT stupid.
Pity about the COTS cases and anyone who spoke against Telstra.

I have heard a class action is being mounted against Telstra Mobile by
Australian business using Telstra Mobile phone.
Where did you hear this?
Post by g***@gmail.com
The reason , Telstra Mobile is refusing to register the same
mobile number when being forced to change from the old mobile
network to the
new mobile network.
Utter bullshit. Has been possible even before MNP, within Telstra.
Post by g***@gmail.com
Telstra Mobile information and infrastructure is simply not ready for
change in Feb. 2008.
Utter bullshit.
Post by g***@gmail.com
Which means in 2008 when I change my mobile phone to 3G or other, I'll
have to change my phone number?
Where can I join the class-action against Telstra Mobile phone?
Any information will be appreciated.
Put your head up you arse for starters.
Post by g***@gmail.com
By Feb. 2008 it is predicted 80,000 Australia business using Telstra
Mobile phone as their way of communication will be forced out of
business because their mobile number has been forcibly removed or
change.
Where did you source such bullshit?
Post by g***@gmail.com
At the moment 25 millions mobile phones are controlled directly
or indirectly through Telstra Australia Mobile .
No such organisation as "Telstra Australia Mobile".
Post by g***@gmail.com
Already a large number of business find impossible to keep their
old mobile number with 3G and other new networks.
Bullshit, you liar.
Post by g***@gmail.com
Which mean business cards , business letter heads, website , local and
overseas customers etc can not be organized and warn by Feb. 2008.
Instead of looking after the Australian business, Telstra Australia is
selling DVD's door to door.
"Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck ....."
Is it technically difficult for Telstra Mobile to allow business
people to keep their same telephone number when changing to the
new 3G from now until Feb. 2008?
Technically easy to do.
Why does Telstra Mobile refuses to do it?
When will you learn to write/type English in coherent logical sentences?
Post by g***@gmail.com
Because Telstra Mobile has to find an excuse to rip off the Australian
businesses.
What about the TIO?
The Telecommunication Industry Ombudsman (TIO) is just an other
name for Telstra.
The board of the TIO is fully controlled by Telstra since 1999.
hahah yeah right. Funny John Pinnock aint on any telco payroll.
Post by g***@gmail.com
80,000 oz business going baste and 500,000 oz business seriously
affected because Telstra Mobile has no respect for Australian
business. These are the statistics for 2008.

Some is telling you porky pies - I changed from CDMA to nextG 6weeks ago
- took the Telstra shop 10 minutes to change my CDMA number to the NEXTG
phone they gave me, and xfer all my numbers from the old phone to the new
one.

The whole thing was painless (well except for the $$$)

A change from CDMA to GSM (NextG is just GSM with a few extra product codes)
is NOT a port, it is a tech-transfer (TTF).

It has never been possible to transfer from prepaid in one technology to
prepaid in another technology in one transaction.

And I don't think there are any plans to enhance the system to allow it

So everyone on CDMA prepaid going to Next-G prepaid will lose their number?
What utter bullshit. So much for Sol's "one click" strategy; another
cum-stain on the existing skid-marked-bedsheet of Australian
telecommunications known as Telstra.
